The Pen & Post
A present for the forgetful

Give someone a year of never forgetting

It is a strange and very good gift: the person who always means to send a card, and never quite does, gets a year of cards arriving before they’re needed — addressed, stamped, ready.

Honestly: we haven’t built the gift flow yet.

What you can do today is start a plan and hand it over — set it up in their name, add the first date or two yourself, and give them the sign-in. It works, and it is not as good as it should be.

A proper version — where you buy it, they get a note from you, and they add their own dates without you ever seeing their address book — is the next thing we want to build. Email us if you want it and we’ll tell you when it lands.

Colophon
The cadence
Cards travel in small batches, and none waits more than about a fortnight between arriving and needing to be posted.
The reminder
One email, on the morning a card needs to go in the post. That is the whole notification scheme.
Set in
Cormorant Garamond and Karla. One for the engraving, one for everything that has to be read quickly.
Colour
Navy on ecru, a dove blue for emphasis, sage where an envelope would be lined, and gilt only ever as a hairline.
